Rib-eye Spiced Coffee Pub Steak

Ingredients:
(Serves 2)

2 teaspoons instant coffee powder

½ teaspoon sweet paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon celery salt

¼ teaspoon ground pepper

2 rib eye fillets – room temperature

2 tablespoons grape-seed oil
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
Mix the coffee and dry spices together.
Rub each steak with the spice mix.
Heat the grape-seed oil to medium in a griddle pan or BBQ.
Fry for 4 minutes on one side only.
Turn the steaks over and then place them onto a baking tray.
Bake in the oven for a further 4-6 minutes, or until the steak is to your liking.
Remove and set aside to rest.
Serve hot with an ice-cold beer, homemade chips, and a fresh walnut salad.
