Fried Halloumi and Sesame Seed Squares

Ingredients:
(Makes 18-24)
8.8oz (250g) halloumi
2.1pt (1litre ) rice bran oil
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon garlic flakes
½ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup panko crumbs
¼ cup black sesame seeds
¼ cup white sesame seeds
Method:
Heat the oil in a medium-sized saucepan.
Using a medium-sized bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
Using a large bowl, combine the panko crumbs, sesame seeds, garlic flakes, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Slice the halloumi into bite-sized pieces.
Dip the pieces in the egg mix, then coat them with the panko crumb mixture.
Deep fry small batches for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
For best results, serve immediately.
