Chai Latte Biscuits Recipe by Nadine Lloyd

Ingredients:

(Makes 30)

  • 2¼ cups plain flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 cup chai latte powder

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  • 250g (8.8oz) butter – at room temp. 

  • 2 eggs

  • 1-2 tablespoons milk (plus extra if required)

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).

Line two baking trays with baking paper.


Beat the butter and sugar together until light and creamy.

Add the vanilla extract, milk and eggs.

Sift in the flour, baking powder, chai powder and cinnamon.

Fold until combined. (add extra milk if required).


Roll the dough into teaspoon-sized balls.

Place ther balls onto the baking tray.

Slightly flatten the balls of dough to form discs.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.


Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking tray.

Transfer to a wire rack.


Serve with tea or chai latte.
